Model: Johnson and Johnson, Puresee, 20D, Refractive multifocal, yellowish
Puresee IOL (Johnson & Johnson) is a refractive multifocal intraocular lens (or extended-depth of focus intraocular lens) with an elevation at the center of optic.
With Puresee IOL (Johnson & Johnson), USAF resolution target was clear as with monofocal IOL at 6 meters. This is typical of recently released refractive multifocal IOLs. The target gradually becomes blurred as the resolution target get closer, becoming clear again around 59 cm before becoming blurred again.
Puresee IOL (Johnson & Johnson) has a minimal halo around bright lights (traffic light, head light and tail light of car) at night compared to monofocal IOLs. This is a typical phenomenon seen in recently released refractive multifocal intraocular lenses.

Puresee IOL (Johnson & Johnson) provides clear image at far distance much like monofocal IOLs. This is typical of recently released refractive multifocal IOLs. However, a closer look reveals a slight drop in clarity compared to monfocal IOLs.
