With Luxsmart (Bausch&Lomb), USAF resolution target was clear as with monfocal IOL at 6 meters. This is typical of recently released refractive multifocal IOLs. The target gradually becomes blurred as the resolution target get closer, becoming clear again around 80 centimeters before becoming blurred again.
Luxsmart (Bausch&Lomb) has a similar level of halo around bright lights (traffic lights, car headlights, and taillights) at night to that of a monofocal IOL. This is typical of newer refractive multifocal IOLs.

Luxsmart IOL (Bausch&Lomb) provides clear image at far distance much like monofocal IOLs. This is typical of recently released refractive multifocal IOLs. However, a closer look reveals a slight drop in clarity compared to monfocal IOLs.

Luxsmart (Bausch&Lomb) has virtually no halo around bright lights at night. It is similar to that of monofocal IOLs. This is a typical phenomenon seen in recently released refractive multifocal intraocular lenses.
