With BVI Medical's Isopure intraocular lens, distant buildings appear clear, almost identical to a monofocal intraocular lens. This is a phenomenon typically seen in recently released refractive multifocal intraocular lenses. However, upon very close observation, the sharpness is very slightly lower compared to a monofocal intraocular lens.

BVI Medical's Isopure appears to have two focal points.
After focusing so that the longer focal point falls on the camera's sensor, the model eye is brought closer to the target.
At 6 meters, it appears blurrier than a monofocal intraocular lens.
After that, as it gets closer to the target it gradually blurs, then becomes sharp again near 110 cm and blurs again.
